Service Policies

Quotes, Orders, and Project Scope

Every project begins with a written quote, proposal, order form, statement of work, or invoice that identifies the services being purchased. Forge918 refers to that project-specific document as the Order.

The Order should identify:

• The selected Landing, Website, Custom Build, add-on, or managed-service plan
• The approved price and payment schedule
• The pages, features, and integrations included
• The revision allowance
• The target schedule
• Any recurring services
• Customer responsibilities and required materials
• Third-party costs and exclusions
• Any exception to Forge918's standard policies

Public website descriptions explain Forge918's normal services but do not automatically add a feature to an individual project. A feature is included when it appears in the accepted Order, applicable plan description, or current service documentation.

Forge918 will not materially increase the price or expand paid scope without customer approval. Taxes, renewal charges, usage charges, and third-party costs may vary when they are clearly disclosed as separate or pass-through costs.

Payments and Launch

A deposit is required only when the accepted Order says one is required. The Order controls payment dates and any approved installment or milestone plan.

Unless the Order establishes a different written payment arrangement, Forge918 must receive full cleared payment of every charge due before launch before it is required to:

• Publish the website to a live production environment
• Complete a production DNS cutover
• Activate paid hosting or another recurring production service
• Release production access
• Place the purchased service live

Forge918 may provide a local, private, staging, password-protected, or other nonproduction preview before full payment. A preview is not a live deployment and does not begin the included twelve-month hosting period.

A payment is not considered received while it is pending, declined, reversed, disputed, or subject to a failed transfer. If a required payment is late, the launch date may move to account for Forge918's availability after the payment clears.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Payments are final and nonrefundable by default unless a different refund right is stated in writing before payment or applicable law requires otherwise. This default applies to deposits, reservation payments, project payments, milestone payments, recurring charges for the current paid period, hosting, Pay-Per-Edit work, add-ons, approved expenses, third-party costs, and unused service time.

A customer cancellation, change of mind, delay, failure to provide required material or access, nonuse, or decision to stop a service before the end of a paid period does not automatically create a refund or credit.

This policy does not allow Forge918 to retain:

• A duplicate payment
• An unauthorized charge
• An amount charged in error
• A recurring charge collected after cancellation became effective
• An amount that nonwaivable law requires Forge918 to return

If Forge918 ends a prepaid one-time service for its own convenience before providing the prepaid work, and the customer is not in breach, Forge918 will return the portion reasonably attributable to work it will not perform after completed work and noncancelable third-party costs are deducted.

Revisions and Scope Changes

The current standard revision allowances are:

• Landing: one content revision
• Website: two content revisions and one design-pack adjustment
• Custom Build, E-Commerce, and Restaurant Ordering: the allowance stated in the quote
• Care: about three website edits each month under fair use
• Care+: a higher website-edit allowance under fair use

An ordinary revision may include a wording change, image substitution, corrected business fact, or minor in-scope layout adjustment.

The following are normally new scope rather than ordinary revisions:

• A new page outside the approved project
• A booking or appointment system
• A customer, employee, or member portal
• A new ordering or payment workflow
• A major redesign
• A substantial database function
• A custom integration
• An application or materially new capability

Forge918 will quote expanded scope separately and obtain approval before beginning separately billable work.

Scheduling, Customer Delays, and Approvals

Project dates are estimates unless the accepted Order expressly guarantees a date. Progress depends on timely customer delivery of accurate information, content, photos, credentials, access, feedback, approvals, and required payment. Third-party platforms can also affect timing.

Forge918 may pause work or adjust milestones when a customer delay, changed instruction, unavailable account access, nonpayment, or third-party dependency prevents work from continuing.

Customer approval authorizes Forge918 to continue based on the approved material. Customers should review business facts, spelling, services, prices, hours, locations, legal claims, desktop presentation, and mobile presentation carefully before approving launch.

Hosting Policy

Every purchased Forge918 website includes twelve months of managed hosting at no additional hosting charge. Unless the Order says otherwise, that period begins on the initial production launch date.

After the included period:

• A website-only or Pay-Per-Edit customer pays the then-current hosting rate.
• The current standard website-only hosting rate is $15 per month.
• Hosting is included without a separate hosting charge while an active Care or Care+ plan applies to the website.

The $15 hosting rate is the current operational rate, not a permanent price guarantee. Forge918 may change a future non-grandfathered hosting rate with reasonable advance notice. A customer may cancel instead of accepting a future hosting-rate change, subject to the Terms of Service and transition requirements.

Forge918 uses a managed-hosting-only model. Standard website purchases do not include a source-code repository, deployable package, server image, infrastructure files, database schema, deployment credentials, or a self-hostable copy of Forge918 Technology. A different hosting or source-code arrangement requires a separate written agreement signed by Forge918.

Care, Care+, and Pay-Per-Edit

Care and Care+ are optional recurring managed-service plans.

The current Care list price is $119 per month. Care currently includes:

• Hosting, monitoring, and backups
• A managed-domain option
• About three website edits each month under fair use
• Routine business-information updates
• Synchronization of supported website, API, and MCP information
• About one-business-day support
• Lead capture
• A monthly traffic, lead, and interaction report
• Reporting on popular pages and commonly used website elements
• An annual design refresh

The current Care+ list price is $200 per month. Care+ currently includes everything in Care, plus:

• A higher website-edit allowance under fair use
• More frequent business-information updates under fair use
• Faster support for routine changes
• More frequent and deeper analytics reporting
• Engagement trends and improvement opportunities
• Automatic supported website updates for new deals, offers, and announcements
• A service level better suited to menus, seasonal content, e-commerce, and frequently changing information

Founding-5 is Forge918's early-customer offer. It is limited to Forge918's first five customers and ends when the fifth spot is taken; the number of spots currently remaining is shown in the Limited Offer on this site. Founding-5 Care is currently $99 per month for twelve months and then $119 per month. Founding-5 Care+ is currently $150 per month for twelve months and then $200 per month. A qualifying Founding-5 subscription must be selected with the original qualifying website build. Purchasing only a website does not reserve an expired subscription promotion for later.

The qualifying base recurring price remains the customer's base rate while an eligible subscription stays continuously active. An introductory rate still expires on the date disclosed in the Order; after that, the stated post-promotion rate becomes the qualifying base rate. Cancellation or expiration ends grandfathered eligibility. Taxes, third-party charges, Pay-Per-Edit rates, upgrades, downgrades, additional websites, new features, expanded scope, and excess usage are not frozen by base-plan grandfathering.

Customers may cancel recurring service by sending a clear request to dylan@forge918.com. Unless the Order or applicable law requires an earlier date, cancellation takes effect no later than the end of the current paid billing period. Cancellation does not create a prorated refund for that period. Forge918 will acknowledge a valid cancellation and stop future recurring charges after it becomes effective. For an annual recurring plan, Forge918 will send a reminder at least thirty days before renewal stating the renewal date, price, and cancellation method.

A customer may launch without Care. During the included first year of hosting, supported changes can be requested through Pay-Per-Edit. Pay-Per-Edit is quoted when requested because the price depends on the work. Large edits, new pages, or new features may require a separate Order.

Domain and DNS Policy

The customer owns its domain even when Forge918 registers, configures, renews, or manages the domain on the customer's behalf. Administrative control by Forge918 does not transfer ownership.

Domain registration, renewal, privacy, premium-domain, transfer, and recovery charges may be billed separately when disclosed. If Forge918 stops managing a domain, the customer remains responsible for renewal, security, account access, and completing required transfer steps.

Forge918 may manage DNS, SSL/TLS certificates, redirects, and related settings through Cloudflare, a registrar, or another approved provider when those services are included.

Third-Party Platforms and Fees

Forge918 projects may depend on services such as Cloudflare, Telegram, Shopify, Square, Toast, Stripe, PayPal, domain registrars, email providers, Google services, social networks, analytics providers, AI providers, booking systems, and other supported platforms.

Customers may need to accept those providers' terms and pay their subscription, processing, transaction, renewal, or usage fees directly. Forge918 does not control a third party's pricing, outage, policy change, account review, API removal, feature change, or discontinuation.

For E-Commerce, Shopify subscription and payment-processing fees are separate. For Restaurant Ordering, ordering-platform and payment-processing fees are separate. The customer remains responsible for products, menus, ingredients and required notices, pricing, inventory, taxes, fulfillment, pickup or delivery, refunds, chargebacks, licenses, and customer service unless the Order expressly assigns a specific responsibility to Forge918.

Security, Privacy, and Availability

Forge918 treats security as part of the managed service. Safeguards may include encrypted transport, access controls, request validation, rate controls, monitoring, dependency maintenance, abuse protection, and testing for common vulnerabilities before deployment.

No internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure, continuously available, or free of vulnerabilities. Forge918 does not promise 100% uptime, an unhackable website, permanent third-party compatibility, or universal browser behavior. Any specific availability, response, backup, or restoration commitment must appear in the accepted Order or applicable plan description.

The current Forge918 Privacy Notice states that:

• Contact forms collect only the information a visitor chooses to submit so the intended business can respond.
• Financial, medical, login, and payment information should not be submitted through ordinary website contact forms.
• Successfully delivered inquiry and lead records are removed from Forge918's active lead store after twelve calendar months. Encrypted backup copies are removed on a fixed rotation schedule.
• Submissions are received, stored, protected, and delivered using service providers that act on Forge918's behalf; they are not sold or shared with anyone for marketing.
• Limited analytics may record opened pages, labeled button or link interactions, and a general region of origin.
• Names, messages, email addresses, phone numbers, and other form values are not sent through the analytics path.
• Form values are not sold or given to data brokers.
• Network addresses used for rate limiting and abuse protection are kept only for a limited period for security purposes and are not used for marketing.
• Forms may be protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which can set a short-lived challenge cookie under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Acceptable Use and Suspension

Forge918 services may not be used for unlawful activity, fraud, deception, infringement, malware, spam, harassment, abuse, unauthorized surveillance, credential theft, unauthorized access, attacks, security circumvention, or excessive automated traffic.

Forge918 may suspend the affected service when reasonably necessary because of nonpayment, suspected compromise, an active attack, unlawful use, abuse, excessive automated traffic, a material Terms violation, emergency maintenance, or a third-party provider restriction. Where practical, Forge918 will give notice and an opportunity to correct the problem. Immediate action may be taken when delay would create material security, legal, operational, or third-party risk.

Results and Performance Policy

Forge918 provides design, technology, infrastructure, integrations, and related services. Forge918 does not guarantee revenue, profit, sales, leads, traffic, conversion rates, search rankings, Google placement, AI recommendations, AI discoverability, customer growth, 100% uptime, complete analytics, or another business result.

Outcomes depend on the customer's offer, market, operations, content, reputation, competition, and factors outside Forge918's control.
